12- daily piece

Had more than a few problems with Zbrush today while working on another piece. Decided to still try and get one done before bed, I like some parts of it but not my fave.

Daily Piece 11

Another chunky sculpt while staring at a diablo character. This time was the Barbarian, though the time I spent on his beard was lost, I also found that it covered to much of the face to show anything.

Back into Diablo after playing the crusader I was inspired to do this character. Added some rough armor last min but the main this is still the head.

Latest piece. Pretty pleased with how it turned out VS how long it took this time.

Getting better on the skull shape, decent hair on this one. Didnt get to poly paint is up, other than the eye. Been watching to much Mad Men :D

Spent the day working on this piece. Using Jim Raynor from Starcraft 2 as a inspiration. I had some hair sculpted out but I think it lowered the quality of the rest of it. One of these days I will figure hair out.

Daily Piece 6

Continuing my head practice. As usual not a fan of the sculpted hair, but its getting better. Going to keep including reference that I am using. Still not going for total likenesses, but its more on less on that track.

Continuing the trend for a while longer still. It was suggested that I include more angles in my pictures, so I will do so. I couldn't get to painting on this one, though I enjoy some of the air work much more.

I think I will also start including some of the ref I use. While not going for total likenesses, it can at least show what I am working from.

"Daily" 4

While not exactly the same method as my last daily sculpts, I did spend a good amount of time on Gully. Thought I would be able to get back to it in time for the comic con entry, how ever the move to a new province and lack of internet for the last few weeks has been troublesome. I plan to finish the piece in the next while, though will go back to my "One a day" sculpts to learn more.

Continuing the bust progress. I dont hate the hair on this one but it took a bit.

Did another head as a piece, tried to increase my speed on it. Not a fan of the hair but I prefer it over generic bald head.
